Position: Senior Software Engineers

Responsibilities:
1. Development of image analysis algorithms for efficient generation of quantum diamond magnetic images from raw images of nitrogen-vacancy (NV) center fluorescence.
2. Development of image analysis algorithms to identify, quantify and distinguish magnetic objects from quantum diamond magnetic image data.
3. Desktop application development with C# WPF, including integrating C# code with C++ code for high-efficiency GPU computation.
4. Web application development, including database management, application maintenance, feature testing and deployment.
5. Software development for hardware control, including mechanical stages, camera acquisition at high data rate, and microcontroller firmware interaction.
6. Integrate end user input for user-focused design of software applications, soliciting feature requests and design feedback to propose development timelines for prioritized tasks.
7. Manage deployment of new releases for software applications, including installation, documentation, and end user support and training.
8. Facilitate software installation, data management, and data security for external users.
9. Manage junior software engineers, including project management, maintaining deadlines and skills training for software tools and end user interactions.
Requirements & Qualifications:
Employer requires a Master of Science degree in computer engineering, electrical engineering, or related field, plus two (2) years of work experience as Software Developer.
Additionally, the Employer requires the candidate to have:
1. Ability to develop image analysis code for quantum diamond magnetic imaging gained through one (1) year of work experience;
2. Proficiency in desktop app development with C# WPF and producing tools requiring the interaction between C# and C++ code gained through one (1) year of work experience;
3. Proficiency in web application development, including database management systems, HTTP practices and security, and modern back-end frameworks gained through one (1) year of
work experience;
4. Proficiency with hardware control, including stages and cameras, and microcontroller firmware gained through one (1) year of work experience;
5. Ability to integrate design input from end users and the implementation of this input into software solutions gained through one (1) year of work experience; and
6. Ability to provide ongoing support and training to end users gained through one (1) year of work experience.
All years of experience may be gained concurrently
