Ronald is a Professor & Founding Director of the Quantum Technology Center at the University of Maryland. He has more than 25 years experience in the development of precision measurement tools and their application across the life and physical sciences, including as co-founder and advisor to multiple companies spun out of his laboratory. Ron is Scientific founder of Hyperfine Research, Quantum Catalyzer, Quantum360, Q4ML and Scientific advisor of Butterfly Network, Quantum-Si, 4Catalyzer. He has 16 patents, and his h-index = 74.
